THE CONTEXT

The social and economic situation in Lebanon is deteriorating by the day. According to the World Bank, poverty could reach 50% of the population, up from 33% in 2018. Youth unemployment, estimated at 38% in 2018, could rise even further if the economic situation does not improve.

Lebanon is in a critical state and we have to help!

OUR AIM

LIFE is launching an Emergency Relief Fund to raise money for carefully selected projects focusing on the provision of food, medication and other basic needs for the most vulnerable Lebanese communities. In the first phase of this initiative, we have selected 7 projects and we count on your support to raise the funds needed to support these NGOs. It is our duty as a diaspora organisation to encourage all Lebanese and friends of Lebanon globally to help alleviate the humanitarian crisis that the country is facing.

DUE DILIGENCE

NGOs are vetted by a sub-committee of the LIFE Board and our partner 3QA
