Food Kits

Upgrading the Tender Society are focusing on providing basic social services throughout the current challenging socio-economic situation by distributing food kits to 660 for 1 month, reaching different types of beneficiaries including widows, orphans, taxi drivers and teachers who are not on a fixed contract. The food kits will allow these families living in Bebnine to cater for their basic food needs.

 

FUNDS NEEDED: $47,000

 

IMPACT: 660 families (3,960 beneficiaries) for 1 month

Upgrading the Tender Society (Al Irtika’a Bil Aata’a) is a Lebanese non-profit founded in 2013 and based in Akkar. Its members work on the development of the region through social projects for the elderly, women, families and youth. They have reached 5000 beneficiaries through their activities that include conducting anti-drugs awareness campaigns, providing the elderly with social activities, supporting vulnerable families and fostering the culture of peace among the youth.
