Funding medical tests and treatments for children with cancer

LIFE will be providing partial treatment to 50 children with cancer for a period of 6 months. The amount will cover blood tests, hospitalization, transfusions, chemotherapy, radiotherapy, and medications.

CHANCE’s (Children Against Cancer) main objective is to provide medical, psychological assistance and care to children in financial need with cancer and blood disorders, and simultaneously to optimise their chances of recovery. CHANCE promotes cancer prevention and cancer control in Lebanon in addition to organizing events and activities for the children to help them accept their disease.

CHANCE relies merely on volunteers, donors and contributors to achieve its goals, thanks to whom the organisation has significantly evolved throughout the years. CHANCE has supported more than 800 children and 15,000 admissions in 7 hospitals, mainly St. George, Hotel Dieu, LAUMC-Rizk, Abou Jaoude, CMC, St. Therese and St. Joseph.
