Food Vouchers

Tahaddi will offer assistance to 100 Lebanese families living in Beirut by providing them with food vouchers. This emergency measure will target economically at-risk Lebanese families who lack official IDs. The provision of food vouchers will alleviate the pressure on these families and allow them to sustain themselves for 3 months.

IMPACT: 100 families (500 beneficiaries) for 3 months

Tahaddi is a Lebanese non-profit organisation that was established in 2008 and has been working on alleviating poverty ever since. They work on facilitating access to education, health and social services. Tahaddi’s education centre enrols annually around 279 students who do not have access to public schools. Their health centre provides over 600 patient visits per month. Under their social services programme they deal with families on a case-by-case basis, offering different forms of support including food vouchers, warm winter blankets and referrals to other service providers. Tahaddi’s work over the years enables it to easily reach beneficiaries in need and provide them with the support they are looking for.
