THE PROJECT THAT LIFE IS FUNDING

Expanding a food storage warehouse

The Lebanese Food Bank is looking to expand the warehouse from 200sqm to 1500sqm. This expansion will give us the ability to accept more donations of dry foods, nutrition items and frozen products and feed more families across the territory. Funding will be used for the warehouse processing and equipment. Currently we are reaching an average of 42,000 persons per year through food boxes and cocked meals; our aim is to reach 60,000 to 85,000 persons by 2020/21 thanks to the larger warehouse.

Funds needed: $50,000

Impact: Increase the number of beneficiaries supported from 42,000 in 2019, to 60,000 in 2020 as well as ensuring that we cover at least 16 out of the 25 districts in Lebanon
